I’ve wanted to do this for a while now, but I’ve been too lazy. I wanted a place where I could have a blog, put up some photos and some of my music (if I ever get around to putting my studio back together). Perhaps at some point even some art and some writings (ok, that’s a stretch). I originally tried to do this using drupal… however drupal is a pain in the ass. Instead I tried using Expression Engine since I had heard some good things about it and seen it used in a few sites that I like to visit. This turned out to be so much easier. Sure it might not be as flexible, but I’m way too lazy to learn drupal without some sort of monetary benefit associated with it.
Anyways, if you hadn’t noticed, I’m using a generic template with a cute little butterfly graphic, hence why the name of this template was “Butterfly”. I will be customizing this somewhat in near future and once i get a hang of Expression Engine I’ll probably make something a little more custom.
